Hotel Chocolat Indoctrination Email — Playful

Hotel Chocolat had a 16.1% sales increase in the Chocolat Sample Pack AND 14.6% increase in web traffic this month.

This email creates intrigue and educates by highlighting different ways of using Hotel Chocolat’s products. I used multiple CTAs, all pointing to the brand’s new recipe blog posts.

That’s It Promo Email — Direct Mail, Persuasive

This converted over 18% of MQLs to SQLs and increased sales by 11.2%

A small but powerful, personalised email speaking to the fruit lovers of That’s It email list. The smaller CTA was the actual sale – making the customer think that they had discovered the less obvious offer.

DAMAGE CONTROL — Formal, Sincere

This email stopped unsubscriptions happening at a rate of 4% per day.

The most important part of this copy was the breakdown of an action plan to rectify mistakes. Next, an admission of guilt, explanation of what happened and sympathy with consumers, emphasizing how this went against shared morals.
